The Amazing Kreskin Headlines Rebirth of the Brook Celebration
World-renowned mentalist The Amazing Kreskin will be the headlining act for a one-night only variety show Rebirth of the Brook.
Festivities begin at 7pm with a black-tie optional reception. The Rebirth of the Brook Variety Show begins at 8PM. Rebirth of the Brook has something for every taste. The show opens with the American Repertory Ballet performing Baker’s Dozen by Twyla Tharp, to the music of Willie “the Lion” Smith. Ventriloquist Alan Semok and his pals take the stage next. The first act closes with a show-stopping number from the Brook’s first show of the season, Little Shop of Horrors. After intermission, the second act opens with a local favorite, the irrepressible Kids on Tap, a youth tap company directed by Kathleen Cirioli, and based in Hillsborough, NJ. And the final spotlight shines on The Amazing Kreskin who is guaranteed to leave the audience wondering, “How did he do that?”

Running Rabbit Family Theatre presents
WINNIE THE POOH CHRISTMAS CAROL
Written by NJ artists, Paul Whelihan (book) and Paul Farinella (music and lyrics). The tale is an adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel as retold with the beloved A.A. Milne Hundred Acre Wood characters. Filled with wit, warmth and whimsy, it recounts the events of one fateful Christmas Eve for the miserly “Rabbinezer Scrooge” (Rabbit).
Scrooge is taught some valuable life lessons, including the true meaning of giving and the importance of family as he is visited by the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future (all embodied by Pooh Bear). Along this look at his life’s journey, Rabbinezer encounters his long lost business partner, “Jacob Meeyoreley” (Eeyore the Donkey) and his teacher from his school days, “Professor Owl Fezzywig” (Owl). Rabineezer must examine his relationships with his clerk, “Tigger Cratchet” (Tigger) and Cratchet’s family, “Kanga Cratchet,” (Kanga) and “Piggy Tim” (Piglet). All occurs with the help and guidance of Pooh’s owner and friend, Christopher Robin.
